Our Olympian collection is once again available to order in wax. You will receive a 1.5oz scent shot of each scent you choose. Choose from full collection or individual melts.
Zeus:
The headman himself leads us off with a best selling scent!
A true classic, fresh and fruity male fragrance of watery top notes, and citrus nuances infused with white flowers of muguet and jasmine. Undeniably sexy notes of coumarin and fresh mint finished with soft woody notes of sandalwood and sweet musk. We have added burnt ozone to our original Zeus blend in order to better represent him.
Hera:
The second scent in our Olympian collection is Hera, goddess of marriage, childbirth, and women.
This is strong black cherry bomb scent that reminds us of the no-nonsense goddess of who punished her husband’s mistresses and their children with relentless energy. Who can really blame her though? Being married to a womanizing unfaithful brother while being goddess of everything he defies daily is enough to drive any girl insane. At least she defended herself.
Hestia:
The last of the virgin goddesses, Hestia stepped down from her place on Olympus to make way for Dionysus, or so some legends say. She is the eldest daughter of Rhea and Kronos, goddess of the hearth fire, and protector of families.
Our fragrance honoring the goddess of the heart is a warm homey scented of honeyed oats and almond mixed with vanilla cream drizzled over roasted pears.
Dionysus:
The god of wine, grape harvest, theater, and ritual ecstasy was Dionysus, often stereotyped as the god of drunkards or the drunken god.
Grapes abound in this rich scent, though some have definitely fermented. Throw in some fruity grain to get started, and then top it off with a summer rain.
Hades:
Hades, god of the underworld and the dead, was so enamored by his niece, the lovely goddess of spring, that he kidnapped her, as she did not go willingly despite having been given to him as a wife by Zeus previously. Several months out of the year he is by her side, so we have created the masculine counterpart to our Persephone fragrance.
Icy mint and keffir lime blend into dark chocolate on a base of clove and vetiver. Black pepper spices the whole thing nicely.
Persephone:
Come to the dark side, we have....chocolate.
Daughter of Demeter and wife of Hades, this Queen of the Underworld is scented in juicy pomegranates, icy mint, bitter dark chocolate, and smooth raspberry.
Hephaestus:
Long suffering husband to the faithless Aphrodite, Hephaestus is the god of metalworkers, carpenters, sculptors, and other similar artisans.
For this underappreciated deity, we have blended best-selling lavender chamomile with a sweet basil and tart lemon on a smoky sandalwood base.
Aphrodite: possibly the most famous (or infamous) Greek goddess.
We have created a blend of bouquet of citrus fruits with strawberries and peaches, perfect for the lush and lovely lady of love. A hint of white musk adds sensuality to the feminine blend.
Athena: virgin goddess of war and wisdom
Our fragrance for the grey eyed goddess is a blend of jasmine, orchid, patchouli, and amber with undertones of real chocolate. Strong and feminine, but not too sweet.
Artemis:
This virgin goddess is best known as the goddess of the hunt and wild animals, but did you know she also guards chastity and childbirth?
This blend of bubbly champagne, cherries, limes, and oranges is named after the woman who we imagine told her suitors, “Bite Me”.
Apollo:
Twin brother to Artemis, this god of the sun also holds a dear place in the heart of classical majors, as he is also the god of music, poetry, art, and more.
The scent I have created for this deity is a warm blend of tangerines and oranges, anchored by sandalwood and topped off with champagne.
Demeter:
The goddess of grain, harvest, and conception, she made the seasons happen due to her grief at losing her daughter Persphone for half the year.
For this devoted mother, we have blended our "love on the rocks" fragrance of sweet tropical vanilla with a ripe peach for an autumnal blend that is strong and sweet, yet not overpowering.
Ares:
This violent man is the Greek god of war and the spirit of battle (also the mentor and wannabe consort of Xena).
For this violent god, we have chosen biting cassia, strong black leather, and a base of musk and sandalwood.
Poseidon:
This powerful god is lord of the sea and master of the waves, also god of earthquakes and horses.
For the brother of Zeus and Hades, bergamot, neroli, and tangerine flow into rosemary and jasmine. A base of patchouli grounds the fragrance topped with aquatic hints.
H*****s:
Herald of the gods and protector of travelers,, merchants, thieves, and messengers, H*****s is well known outside of historical and literary circles. Asterisks because his name gets us flagged
Black coffee and tea make up the caffeinated heart of this interesting blend. Top notes include white pepper and salty sea air, while rich amber grounds the scent and adds sweetness. Incense is one of H' symbols, so we couldn't forget that.
Poured to order with custom TAT. Pictures for themed example ONLY. You will receive SCENT SHOT CUPS.
